Hello all my lovely family! I've decided to create a blog that will inspire us to be more healthy. I've read a lot lately about processed foods and how bad they can really be for us. I've started being concerned for my family's health and have a newfound understanding of what foods really are healthy. I have felt strongly that I've needed to make some changes with the way our (russon) family eats. I know the changes won't happen overnight but there are small steps we can take to becoming healthier. Besides, there are so many added benefits to eating healthy - way more energy, more radiant skin, great body, less sickness...and so forth. So, what I would like to see on this blog is LOTS of recipe ideas, thoughts, and inspiration for happiness. I'm not pressing anyone to complete any sort of challenge. I just want us to all start thinking about and experimenting with being more healthy. I WANT TO CHANGE. I know I don't have to give up sugar all together but balance and moderation needs to be learned. I WANT MORE ENERGY AND I WANT TO FEEL GOOD...EVERYDAY! So with that...I would love my loved ones to join me on this journey. I need your inspiration and I care so much about all of you and your health. So the first thing I've wanted to share is a simple snack I tried the other day that was delicious:
1 whole wheat English Muffin
1 tbs peanut butter
1 tbs raisins
