Hurting

So I'm at the end of day 3 and still feeling good however it hurts so bad to walk down the stairs. The top of my thighs are killing me! I suppose that's a good thing. I decided I just don't like the coleslaw salad (I know, you girls probably think I'm crazy) so I just eat the chicken breast with an apple. The substitute list said if you don't like coleslaw just skip it. I am much happier now! I felt like I was forcing it down and that was frustrating. It made me excited. It made me realize we can always find something we like to replace it. We don't have to torture ourselves or we'll never make it. No tortures for the banana oatmeal smoothie however! I look forward to that every morning!

I enjoyed watching Biggest Loser last night. I liked how Olivia said that she was the girl that would always start something but never finish it. That's me. But like Olivia, I am determined to follow through this time. I feel like I'm slowly getting energy back and that is the main thing that drove me to do this. I know I can't have energy when I'm eating lots of sugar. Today has been good. I still continue to feel pretty full and I like eating my mint chocolate chip dessert gum. So far, I like Living the Life!

  1. I'm definitely hurting too, but I have noticed an immediate shift in my energy level each day. I must have been eating PRETTY crappy, cause I always FELT pretty crappy and tired. Now I feel like I have energy to get through each day. That's even with having a poor nights sleep. I'm definitely sticking with this! And yes, the salad is my FAVORITE meal of the day! Funny how we all have different taste buds. Good idea on the gum. I need to go get me some of that!
